Age limit as on 01.01.2013 :- Required age is between 18-27 years. Upper age relaxation is admissible as follow SC/ST -05 years, OBC -03 years (For West Bengal Candidates Only) and for Ex-Servicemen candidates as for the existing govt rules
Educational qualifications : Candidates must have passed in Madhyamik Examination from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education OR it's equivalent Under any Board of State Government / Central Government.

Salary :- Salary will be paid in Pay Band -2 as Rs. 5,400-25,200/- (Band-2) + G P Rs. 2,600/-+ other admissible allowances
Selection Process: Selection will be made by following stages. Physical Measurement Test PMT + Physical Efficiency Test (PET) + Written Exam / Test + Interview.

Application fee:- Rs 150/- (No Application fee for SC/ST of West Bengal Candidates) through DD/ Postal Order in favour of West Bengal Police Recruitment Board and Payable at GPO Kolkata
